The team at Omnia Audio has been working on a new version of MPX Node software, V1.6.1, and we’re happy to let you know that it is now available from the Telos Alliance website for download and installation. This new version has a number of features and improvements, and it is now available at no charge.
Release notes and update instructions for v1.6.1 are now live as TelosHelp docs; these are linked from the MPX Node product page and available below.
Please note that bullet number one above references newly added package encryption, as this version marks the introduction of encrypted update package files.
For users who participated in Omnia’s beta program and have already installed a v1.6.x beta, you will now need to upgrade using the encrypted .epkg file type. Other users can use the .pgk type. All future releases will migrate to .epkg delivery, and your browser should present the appropriate package type based on your current installed version.
As noted in the 2nd bullet point above, Omnia MPX Node V1.6.1 adds long awaited MIB-II compliant SNMP features, allowing you to monitor, query, and control (with some limitations) your MPX Node using a MIB browser. This document assumes you have already installed version V1.6.1 and are familiar with SNMP and its capabilities.
