Users can download the updated software version from the TelosHelp Update Guide which can be found either through TelosHelp or the PDM Product Page.
The most significant feature of this release is the removal of dependency on Adobe Flash with an updated HTML5 web interface. It is important to note that this release applies only to PDM’s manufactured since May of 2014. These units are identifiable by firmware module numbers B600 and higher (to find the module number of a unit, go to the PDM’s web GUI, and click on the Information page).
First generation PDM units with modules B599 and below were built on a different hardware and kernel platform. They can not be upgraded due to limitations of this legacy architecture and must remain running on version 2.4.X software. This inability to update does not affect an older working unit’s ability to function as a stand-alone delay, but may impact older units user’s web control experience as browser support for Flash is gradually eliminated.
