#WeBuildBroadcast

On behalf of all of us here at PTS (Pippin Technical Service) welcome to the 71st edition of WABE.   As was the case with last year, things again look a little different than usual, and we wanted to take a quick second and express our thanks to the organizers who once again found a way to make this event happen and keep the spirit of sharing and community active within the Broadcast Engineering family.  Thanks to YOU as well for making the time to learn more about the craft – and swing by our virtual space at this year’s show.  Drop us a line if we can assist in any way.  Whether you need quotes, information, or want to blue sky a workflow – our Solutions Team is always more than willing to act as both a sounding board OR resource, whichever you require.  Click the posters below for more information on the subject at hand, and please, enjoy the show!

#WeBuildBroadcast

Introducing: our new look!

With the impeding launch of a number of products to both the Canadian and global market, we’ve taken the opportunity to streamline our visual identity moving forward.  The offset rectangle evokes progress and momentum, leaning into the future.  The wordmark is simplified to our intitials, allowing for a bolder typeface to feature on both GUI’s and hard goods, while also bringing the ‘S’ (and Service) back to a place of prominence in our masthead.

Watch for the PTS brand on your screens and in your equipment racks soon!

Please join us in welcoming to the
PTS team – Garry Shepherd!

If you have not already signed up for your Delegate pass with WABE, click the logo below to be redirected.  Applications DO take some time to process, but not to worry, the papers and Exhibits will be active for quite some time following the LIVE show, so there is still plenty of knowledge and value to be found!

Most recently the head of the Broadcast Engineering program at SAIT Polytechnic, along with working to develop systems and training for our internal teams, Garry will also be tasked with developing continuing education opportunities for our valued clientele.  Looking for specific training?  Drop us a line!
